"Since September 1,2023. A new property management company took over, and they r horrible. They lied, cheated me out of money, changed my rental payment history. Said I was month to month, when my lease clearly showed a year. Over charged me and when I said something about it, they denied me access to move complexes due to domestic violence reasons, and in the end nothing got fixed, I'm still without heat, got locked out of apartment and was told they don't have a lockout , so after sitting outside from 10pm-7am in the freezing cold waiting for maintenance guy to get here I finally busted the door to get in..(don't worry I fixed it)! They came n my home without me knowing ( I have security cameras going). Well I did till he unplugged it. They never answered me about why he was n there. I have a dog, so on every request I say must give me notice to put her up. He said she bit him . I said that's odd lol ast time u were here she was n her kennel. BUSTED! That's also when he busted my heater, luckily neighbor's had a space heater I could use. 5 months theyve had a request for repair of leaking pipes. Portal says completed! Really cause ain't nothing fixed. The same damn bowl is still there collecting water. Liers!!!and all units are infested with roaches and bedbugs.. ask the tenants, if there are any left by that time. This once was a full complex. Now over 90%empty..... Shame on onyx property management company Reno...based out of Portland or...."

"After being homeless for 2 yrs..I finally found a place to call home, they let me in with my rental history with higher deposit. . Just signed my 2yr lease agreement and it feels great! Yes this place is run down and beat to hell. But it could b worse..I know cause I've lived n worse! Note: would b nice if they fixed the laundry room soon. I just loaded the laundry card with 50.00...then they closed it ..now my money is stuck on there!as my laundry is stacking up.."

"This is an update as 2/16/2019 On December 29, 2018 this complex was sold. First thing that happened is my hot water heat went out, after talking to apartment manager ( who is located off site), I waited 2 days before I got a call from the maintenance man for new owners. He called at 6:30 pm saying he could make it over the next morning. So it would have been the 3rd day after contacting them that I would have had heat. Luckily, I had the problem 4 years earlier and I watched the previous owner fix it. All it took was releasing air in the line. There are 2 release screws. So I did it myself. Took 2 mins. Glad I remembered that. Second thing the new owners did was raise the rent $150 per month. This was just 2 weeks after the purchase. It is different here now. Not sure I would recommend anyone renting here. I am moving soon after 9 years. Better places for the money. Update 6/1/2020 Ever since this building was sold to Nevada commercial services it is very bad. Never get call backs from property manager. Renting to rehab clients, all kinds of drug dealings, homeless people, police being called often, trash, people sleeping in laundry room, bad people loitering around. This company doesn't care about renters. Many long term people leaving the complex due to the drug and gang activity. It's a shame hoiw this place has went down hill in just 1 year of this management company taking it over."
