"Really convenient location and the building is nice because it's new. That's where the positives end. The leasing office is utterly unhelpful unless you're trying to sign a lease. The phone is not picked up the majority of the time and they will hardly ever return your calls. Even when visiting the office in person to get answers, the people at the desk don't know enough to help you unless you have very easy, general questions. Instead, you will need to bother the office incessantly for them to get anything done because only the manager can do anything, and it feels like they're unavailable a lot of the time. I've only needed to submit one maintenance request, but it took a week to be completed. The wifi is not great. It's noticeably less reliable than campus wifi. The weekday free parking situation is probably worse than any other student apartment building, which is a recent change. Notice how the vast majority of early 5-star reviews are of the desk staff and tours and not anything about being a tenant. Also note that the most recent 5-star review on both the building and leasing office are by the building's manager (at least this was the manager at the time I signed my lease), which is a clear conflict-of-interest. These apartments are more expensive than other student apartments solely because of the location and not much else."

"The responsiveness of the property manager is horrific. Was promised a move in incentive of $600 still have not received it after 5 weeks of living there. Attempted to email back and forth with property manager but she hasn't responded to my email in 2 weeks now (this was after showing proof that I should have received an incentive) This is unfortunate because the place is nice and close to the university. The place has potential, unfortunately poorly managed"

"My son likes the apartment fine and the location is great, but the management is terrible (not the desk workers). The communication is non existent except to tell you how much you owe. My son's lease was dropped over the summer because of their screw up. When were finally able to get someone on the phone they got a new lease done, but we lost our $750 rebate because they would not honor the original lease signing date for the incentive Again the lease cancellation was 100% their fault. The new lease did have the original price on it, but when the bill came it had the current lease prices which is $60 more a month. I had to pay so he didn't get fined. My son and my wife have reached out several times and can't get anyone to return our emails or calls. To top it off the apartment sent out a notice that those waiting for a parking spot can park in the overflow parking until a spot opens up. My son got two tickets in the first two days. OMG"

"While the location of Here Reno is convenient, my experience living here has been quite disappointing. Safety is a concern, with frequent homeless individuals gaining access. Maintenance requests took unreasonably long to address, and I had persistent issues like a non-draining shower. The hot tub was out of order for a significant portion of my stay. While the staff, who are mostly young and friendly, were a positive aspect, the upper management's performance was subpar. Regrettably, if I were to return to Reno, Here Reno wouldn't be my choice again."

"The location of HERE is great and the rooms are alright, but the management is absolutely atrocious. They send out emails with conflicting information, don't follow up with requests in a timely manner, give little to no notice about policy changes, and are generally annoying to deal with. The staff here are nice, but they aren't always very good at their job. Recently, I was out of country and sent a sent a friend in to talk to the staff about a time sensitive issue I was having (since they weren't responding to my messages). Despite giving a verbal confirmation to my friend that they would send me an email right away to resolve my problem, they never sent any email, ever. I then had my friend go in AGAIN, and they still didn't email me back. Since I was out of the country and couldn't call them, I had to wait for them to replay to an email I had sent earlier, at which point my problem had gotten much worse. Unsurprisingly, I sent them a complaint about this, and they still haven't responded back. I don't recommend living here. The location may be nice, but dealing with the people who run this place is absurd."
