Motel 6 Reno, NV - Virginia Plumb

"The stay was horrible. The staff was rude. She was ameture one. We did not have toilet paper or even shower curtains. She refused and threatened us that she will call the cops and check out us if we bother her again. She should have been polite and understandable. I can understand it was a long weekend so the motel might be too busy but it is not the way she should address the guests. Later other staff was helpful and tried to address all the issues which we help. Shootout to the handyman, he was super helpful and polite but the lady at the front desk was very rude. Asking management to at least have and maintain good staff."

"Amazingly kind staff, good location, and nice facilities. I do not hold many high expectations for any sort of lodging, however I do hold fire safety and maintenance of safety equipment to high regard. My smoke detector was disabled and covered with a plastic bag. Fire safety is a priority for me, seeing that and having to mitigate the issue myself was not ideal. Thank you for the kindness and assistance otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay"

"Booked for three people, was only given two pillows one for each bed and there was only one thin blanket in the room period and when we asked for stuff they didn't have any... Beds were super hard, Floors and surfaces were dirty, bathroom door had some foreign material wiped on the back of it. AC/ heater was super dirty. No soap to even wash your hands. Should had read reviews ahead of time. For close to a hundred bucks they should do better...a lot better! The staff was decent. No resort charge, so there was that. It did have a microwave and running water."

"I stayed in room 225 one night while traveling through Reno. The room has been recently updated and was in good shape. For the price it is worth the stay. Edit: I originally gave this place four stars but now I’m dropping it down to two. Did not realize there were only two towels and a bar of soap and no shampoo until I went to take a shower. I stayed in 125 hotels last year and not once was not provided with basic toiletries in a room this place is more like a transient or one night stand motel so I’m dropping it down to two stars."

"This motel 6 is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. It has very clean rooms and they’re kept up very well. The staff is also VERY VERY friendly and always a pleasure to speak to anyone that works here. I haven’t had any issues with anyone and anytime I need something for the room they’re on top of it! I highly recommend staying here if you need a place to stay and on top of it the rooms are affordable. Also plenty of food options around here in walking distance and little convenience stores for anything you might need. I also wanted to say thank you to Joe and Odessa very being so kind every time I have an encounter with them. Thank you both for your amazing customer service!"
