"Dr.Wells is amazing. Very practical and detail oriented. Took my GSD who was limping. Possible cause was Panosteitis. Gave her steroid injection and medicines. Think i will not go anywhere"

"SHORT VERSION: Do not take your pet here. The office is disorganized and their lack of responsibility for their mistakes has cost my cat and myself greatly. My initial visit with Dr. Wells was great. He was very knowledgable, friendly, and the staff was helpful. Dr. Wells even called me at 9:30 pm the same day as my appointment to go over my cat's blood work. I referred multiple friends to the office because I had a good experience. That was 9 months ago. Two weeks ago I took my cat in for urinary issues. Dr. Wells suspected my cat had urinary crystals and he was informative like before. However, between when I dropped my cat off and picked him up several items were added to my bill that I wasn't told about. One of them was an oral antibiotic, which I was told I wouldn't have to take home because I had paid for an antibiotics injection AND we were doing a urinary analysis to find out if he needed an antibiotic at all. When the tech was explaining the medication to me she started giving me incorrect instructions that could have hurt my cat because she didn't check what treatment he had already received that day. They told me the results of the urinary analysis would be available in 2-5 days. That was on a Wednesday. I didn't hear anything over the weekend or the beginning of the week. I assumed maybe they meant 5 business days and they would call me when the results were in. The following Friday morning (9 days after our visit) I called the office regarding the results. The receptionist tried to give me the results over the phone and I said "Thanks but I have no idea what that means" and asked someone to call me to talk about next steps. She said the provider for that day - Dr. Piper? - would call me that day to go over it. 7 hours later I hadn't received a call so I called again. This person looked at the results and sounded alarmed. She said Dr. Wells wasn't in but she would put it on his desk to call me first thing in the morning. I guess the other provider couldn't be bothered? The next day my cat is not doing well. He is not able to urinate and seems lethargic. He is having difficulty walking and straining to urinate with no results. When I call the office again and tell them what is going on they say Dr. Wells has been very busy with appointments and he can call me in an 1- 1.5 hours and besides the results were only printed yesterday. I asked her to send me a copy. Upon reveiwing the results myself - they were given to the clinic TWO DAYS after my initial visit. They were only printed out because I called and made them realize their mistake. I still have not received a call back to go over the results (it's been more than 3 hours) perhaps because they know they messed up. In the mean time, I have had to take my cat to another vet to treat a urinary blockage and will be spending more than $2K for this treatment. I am extremely disappointed and have told my friends to start taking their pets elsewhere. I want to believe this was the result of human error or miscommunication, but even that can have deadly consequences and none of us can afford to put our pets at that risk."
