"Really disappointed with this place. I went there for a few things like always because it’s on my way home and it’s convenient. When I was there Saturday around noon I seen that bacon was 2 for 5 and I took 2 then continued shopping. So I get to check out and it rings up 6.99 each so I asked for help. The young girl asked me if I was a member and I said yes then she asked if I already bought some before and I said no. She sends me to the service counter and they checked MY PHONE on the app to see if I was LYING about buying it already. At this moment I am mad and was about to walk out but the lady said ohh… now I see why! The sale states a Friday only sale item. Okay, so… First I AM NOT A LIAR but at the same time you’re employee’s left a whole shelf marked for a special price and it’s Saturday. Second, after all this instead of trying to fix the situation she walks away and helps another customer and totally ignores me. My advice = Go to FRY’S."
"$16 each for 30 packs of beer for the Super Bowl. Wow also I make beef jerky so I got top around for $1.77 a pound wow and on top of that the butcher sliced it to 1/8 of an inch thick super happy with Safeway today."

"It's a grocery store. I went to use some of the digital coupons. My wife taught me to always check the receipt, and I didn't get all the coupons to work. But I brought it to their attention, and they immediately took care of it. So great for fixing it, but too bad I had to check."
"This was my first time shopping in this store and I had to return to have my receipt adjusted because I was inadvertently overcharged. I use the Safeway app with the Just For You ads. One ad was for Dreyer’s Ice Cream for $1.97 when you buy 3 which I did, but the cashier accidentally forgot to ring one up so I was charged full price for 2 and got one for free which cost me $5.49. I have had a lot of issues with the Safeway app and not getting the actual discounts and if this was done purposely it could be seen as deceitful. I don’t think it was intended, but it would be a deceptive way of pretending to give discounts."
