"I have been a huge supporter of Ike's Sandwiches for years and was super excited when they opened up a new location at Alma School, right by my work. I started going there on a weekly basis and always enjoyed trying new sandwiches, until today... I decided to take my Dad with me there for the first time... only to have the girl at the front counter greet us in a Satan shirt with an upside down cross on it. I'm all for freedom of speech expression. I don't have an issue with her wearing a shirt promoting her beliefs in Satan, but when you wear a shirt with an upside down cross attacking and denouncing MY Lord, it made both me and my father feel unwelcome. Imagine if you were Jewish and you walk into a restaurant having your order taken by someone wearing a swastika T-shirt. That's what it feels like. To make matters worse they messed up our order big time! I felt bad because my Dad is hesitant to come back now and I'm beginning to wonder who's hiring staff at this location. I know this is not what Ike would want and this isn't the norm for this sandwich chain. I don't plan on going back to this location any time soon, and will start going to the one on Gilbert Rd again."
"We tried them for the first time today and omg! Their sandwiches are so delicious! Great quality bread, meats, cheeses and sauces. We will definitely make this our go to spot for sandwiches."
"Tawana is the best, she has the best customer service and made me feel so welcome I’ve never been to this place before and she helped me pick a sandwich and took the time to see how my day was. Honestly made my whole day. She deserves a raise!"
"The food tasted great, but my order was wrong, I got mushrooms I specifically asked to not add but didn't get the cheese that was supposed to be on it. The other sandwich in my order was as it was supposed to be and very good. The place was super clean and nice, and the staff were really friendly."
"Great experience! I'm visiting my boyfriend from Utah, and planning on moving to Phoenix in March. We'll definitely be coming back often! The dirty sauce is great, the food was excellent, and they have awesome lemonade/juice choices. 12/10 would recommend"
