"We recently received a new restroom stall partition door at work. The stall door was shipped to us here in Colorado via R & L Carriers. The door arrived damaged. It was dented and badly gouged. You could see the imprint of a forklift tire on the side of the cardboard box the door was packaged in, the box was ripped open on one end by a forklift fork, I presume. We filed a claim with R & L Carriers. Our claim was denied because the person that received the damaged goods did not see or note the damage on the shipping document. The door was big and heavy. It was clearly damaged in shipping though , R & L could not even offer a partial resolution. They were also difficult to get a hold of on the phone. I do not recommend anyone use R & L Carriers to ship anything. They clearly are very aggressive with their freight and have terrible customer service."

"We had some tile delivered from down south by this carrier. I knew that my partner had set things up and wanted to make sure they had my contact info for the delivery because I had a feeling they only had his number, and not mine. I would be the one leaving work to meet the truck, so they needed MY number. I called the company several hours before the delivery to give them my phone number, and told them to please pass it along to the driver, but they never did. The driver, through no fault of his own, was trying to reach my partner, who was unreachable at work. It was a whole hot mess that I did my best to solve before it became a problem. Mistakes happen, and the truck driver himself was very helpful and did his job well. He has no blame here. The lack of communication between the office and the driver was frustrating. After the fact, I called to let the office staff know what happened, and they tried to pass along blame on to me. I was proactive, and I caught things before they became an issue. I didn't appreciate the buck being passed to me. I did everything I could on my end, but they didn't on their end. Just a warning to others that they didn't do their very best, but then made it worse with no apology/ taking ownership of the mistake. Not the kind of company I like to do business with. I was disappointed. We haven't unpacked the tile yet, but the condition looked good. I'll try and update after we've opened things to let ya'll know how that looks, too."

"One of your drivers in Louisville just made a right hand turn into the road and then traveled left across three lanes of traffic with no regard to the vehicles in their path so that they could reach a left turn lane. Your driver almost hit another vehicle, and then my own. I had to accelerate ridiculously to get out of their way and ahead of them. The person behind me was forced out of their lane into a left-hand turn outlet. Had that outlet not been there? Your driver would have totaled their vehicle and caused significant risk to the people inside. This is extremely dangerous and unacceptable behavior for somebody driving a vehicle that large."

"I am so happy with R+L shippers!! I’ve used practically all of their competitors. Some of them were so bad that it almost put my little business out of business. I felt hopeless. Calling to find out where my crates are and them not giving me answers. Clients expecting answers from me. Very high stress. Then I switched to R+L and I noticed an immediate improvement. I just sent a crate out on Tuesday and it arrived safely at its destination on Thursday. Unbelievable. I can’t say enough good things about R+L shippers. They earned my loyalty."
