"I was at Festival Farms park today in Avondale and saw the same treatment that the other reviewer saw. It was very alarming to see the kids being yelled at for taking their time to eat. They were threatened to be left if didn't leave right away. Some of the kids even left their lunch pails because they were hurried. One of the counselors just walked away from them with attitude. He also said because they ate for 20 min they have to stand on the wall for 20 min at daycare. Why are kids being punished for eating lunch? The kids in the camp were all well behaved at the moment I saw them. So it was unnecessary scolding.My kids asked me why the grownups were being mean to the kids. I definitely wouldn't ever take my children to this camp. It's really sad that I'm sure these parents have no idea their kids are being treated this way. Parents please be weary to put your child in this camp."
"We saw this child care group at festival farms park and the the teenagers supervising them were terrible. Yelling at the kids to hurry up eat their food faster. And since the kids took "to long" (20 mins according to male teen) the kids would have to sit 20 mins on the wall back at the center. The worker that answered my call about the complaint was racist and called me names on the phone. Please think about where you are sending your kids."
