"Went to look at apt#1. There were no photos online. Given security a code for "gated" entrance from the Drews office via telephone call.. coming up the steep stairs to the hallway, the window to the roof Was unlocked and there was no way to secure it from the inside. . Unit #1 had no deadbolt no peep hole. The windowsill air-conditioner was blowing dust and there was pigeon feathers on the floor. We looked out the window and there was all kinds of bird droppings on the outer windowsill as well as the top of the air conditioning unit. there was a folded paper napkin put into the slats of the air conditioning unit . kitchen counter looked nice but was very dusty there was no storage in studio room or hallway. Tiny bathroom.Only a shower curtain separating the shower from the and toilet . No storage in there as well. not very many outlets in the entire "studio". Also it took a while for the shower to get warm. Also I had no idea you could rent an apartment with no kind of heat. (A portable space heater would just dangerous.) Just kind of seemed like a sham of a place. Even the laundry facilities had no curtains on the windows which made the room very warm and the floor was very bubbly and warped, looked like water damage. I would never live there doesn't look/feel safe, the parking lot did not have good lighting and we had no idea where garbage bins were. It directly overlooked Main Street but it would be pretty noisy hearing the train bells and traffic all the time."

"These apartments are tiny. If you like the feeling of living in an historic walk up this is as close as you can get in Mesa. There are a few pros and cons. PROS: Utilities are included in the cost of rent. It requires a key fob to get into the building so it adds a little security. You live in a decent location. "Downtown" Mesa is very quiet in comparison and thats a pro if you like sleep. CONS: These apartments are TINY, studios are around 430 sq/ft and the 1 bedrooms have the same floor plan but an extra foot or two in width. The largest unit is a 2 bedroom but the second bedroom is 8'x6'. It used to be the hallway but they added a wall. Speaking of walls, the insulation is horrible. Every time someone opens or closes a door and walks down the hall, you can hear it. the BIGGEST CON is the parking. There isn't any assigned parking and you have to share parking with Mesa's public parking. That means no covered parking. All in all, rent used to be cheap, like 650 cheap, for a studio. Now I look online at this new management company and see that they want to rip people off. These apartments are listed as being bigger than they are and are posted at a grand per month. It is obvious that the management company is trying to get paid. It was great to live here when I did, despite the parking situation and lack of stuff to do in Mesa. Today, given the new information and the lies, I'd avoid living here."
