"I have been here since 2021 and renew my leased twice. Yes the rent increase last year over 30% was hard on many including myself. This area is not as bad as other reviews are mentioning. I have never had any issues with any one of my neighbors. Everyone is either a student or a single professional and mind their own business. The Tennis court, pool and laundry are clean. The weight lifting equipment is aging and need a replacement. The other gym equipment are in a good condition. Management is welcoming and the maintenance team is very friendly and professional at all times. Pool is well maintained and Grills are available. Among the best apartment building in the area. I have lived and seen worst places for the same price. Hope this review helps."

"Had my car stolen here. Also tried to increase my rent by $400 in one year. They have a big homeless issue with stealing clothes in the laundry room before they added the lock. The neighborhood is just not safe for the price you are paying for."

"I've been renting here for a little over 2 months now, and it has been an amazing experience! The staff here at Shorebird are some of the nicest people you can meet, and made my move-in experience super quick and easy. So far, I have had no issues with pests, and no issues with loud neighbors, everything is super quiet. Even though it is located right off the 60, the traffic isnt bad at all. It's also great that a Walmart and Fry's is just 1-2 minutes down the road, and 7-8 minutes away from other grocery stores. There's also great fast food places across the road for those days you don't want to cook dinner. Anyway, I highly recommend getting a place here, or at least recommend considering it!"

"I give Shorebird Apartments 3 stars. The management and maintenance are always helpful and responsive. The issues I have with Shorebird Apartments pertain to the way the property owners are managing the property. First, the $400 increase in rent effective June 1 is ridiculous. It seems that greed is more important than keeping quality tenants. Next, the lack of renovation in the property doesn't justify the rent increase. The pool is not heated during the winter and spring, and the jets in the jacuzzi are laughable at best. The pool also used to be open for 24 hours, along with the laundry room. Both close at 10, and having to enter a combination on the laundry room door to enter while carrying clothes is cumbersome. More speedbumps should also be installed in the driveways, because drivers don't always look out for pedestrians, and the design of the parking lot makes it difficult for people to walk out of the complex when the parking lot is packed full of vehicles. While the front desk representatives are great, it isn't worth the $1,200 plus they want to charge on June 1. There's no central air. The insulation is bad enough that it's hotter inside of the apartments than outside. Plus, you can hear your neighbors using the bathroom, sneezing, etc., things you shouldn't have to hear when you're living somewhere."

"When I toured this property in July I was greeted with kindness and the utmost respect! have been at this wonderful community since November and still feel the exact same kindness from the staff no matter who I deal with! The office staff is always extremely professional and timely! Maintenance requests are handled expertly and with same-day service! I allow them permission to enter, so when I submit a request in the morning it is fixed by the time I come home and nothing else in my apartment is disturbed. The manager has always taken care of any issue that I have come across and makes me feel like my voice is actually being heard! The housekeeper always offers a warm smile and a friendly hello each and every morning! The leasing specialists are extremely helpful and show that they really love their job and care about the community! The community itself though not in the best area is gorgeous and feels as safe as any higher class neighborhood! The grounds are well kept by the maintenance teams and the facilities are clean and spotless every time I go to use them! The apartments have a great set up and really make your home flow nicely. Almost all of my neighbors are polite and courteous when it comes to noise control and quiet hours. I think the management company is the backbone to this property and is why they function like a well oiled machine. If you are considering the property I would act fast because they are very popular not only for students (like myself) but also any ages. It makes for a very close knit community. Older residents really take you under their wing and make it feel like a family rather than "just an apartment complex". Living at Shorebird has been the best rental experience and I am excited to renew my lease."
