"I’m about to buy out of my lease, this place is a nightmare . The unit is horrible, condition of the unit upon move in was dirty, my cabinets were damaged, had light coverings missing that were never installed, my ac unit went out right after move in. They gave me a portable AC unit that was only meant to cool 550 sq ft for 2 weeks when the issue could have been solved within a day if their maintenance knew what they were doing but here at Vista Valley, all they do is cut corners! If you put in work orders they will just wait 2 weeks and then close them out without even coming to the unit. This place is a joke and the property itself is falling apart quickly. The walls of the unit are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING! And the neighbors are a nightmare just blaring sound systems all hours. Save your money and time, do not move here. It’s a dump."

"Vista Valley in Mesa, AZ, is genuinely a gem. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the amenities are just what you need. The place is well taken care of, and Fernanda, the property manager, is the real MVP. She's approachable, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. Living here has been a great experience, and Fernanda's awesome management skills add a real sense of community. Highly recommend Vista Valley if you want a real, down-to-earth living experience."

"I lived at vista valley for the past year and I never felt the need to write a review until now. I wouldn’t let my mother live here. As soon as we moved in to the unit we had roaches come out the first night. The pictures of the trash are true around the complex. There is trash everywhere. During the summer the ac cannot keep up and it will not get under 76. When you put in a work order for the ac they will not show up for a week and instead of fixing a problem they will put tape over the vent to “increase flow”. The office blames the building for being old and it is what it is. I had my dryer go out, no one looked or checked on my work order for 6 weeks. Multiple phone calls to the office and finally when I’ve had enough and go up the office at 2pm on a Wednesday it’s locked. Everyone is on lunch at the same time! Some maintenance guy heard me knocking and came around to see what I needed. He was the one who helped and had a dryer for me 4 days later. The pools aren’t even nice! They are cloudy most of the summer and good luck trying to get in because there is 4 gates with 16 locks and you gotta guess which one will work. Once you finally find the right lock your key will not turn and might break. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here. Much nicer alternatives for the same price elsewhere. If you do decide to move here enjoy your summers where you spend $400 on a 76-78 degree apartment with your roommates the roaches! Update! You will get less than 50% of your security deposit back because they will claim you didn’t take care of the unit. I’ve never had to pay for an apartment complex to redo the bathtub or change the vinyl floor after I move out. So much for normal wear and tear lol! I will see them in small claims court!"

"I met with Michele Sanders on a Saturday morning. She was very pleasant and answered all my questions. I was looking for a 1 bedroom, first floor apartment. She showed me the unit that was going to be available when I needed to move. We went back to the office, I applied and was approved that same day. I recently went back to take another look at the unit and get some pictures for reference. Michele was very accommodating and allowed me to take the time I needed. I’m looking forward to moving in and happy to see the office staff if pleasant to communicate with. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is strictly due to the fact the apartment I’m moving into isn’t a fully updated unit."

"This is what your monthly trash fee pays for when you live here (it looks like this every single week from Saturday until Tuesday). Absolutely outrageous to charge the amount they do. 1 bedrooms are about $1,500 a month just for them to ignore all your maintenance requests since you’ve moved in!!! My apartment was also FILTHY, literal human feces all over the toilet and piles of dust on everything. This place has been horrible definitely do not recommend living here."
