"This place was good for the years we lived there, quiet space, leasing office leaves you alone if you pay them on time. However, the move-out process was absolute hell… I’ll give them props for attempting to keep us and move us to a different apartment, but during that time not one person in the office had the same information or details. The amount of money it cost to simply SWITCH apartments on the same complex continued to rise every time I talked to someone new. Also the amount of money that was added onto our rent every YEAR was absurd. No wonder they’re getting sued for it… this complex also loves to keep your money… don’t attempt to clean and make your apartment look new. They’re gonna charge you for absolutely everything anyway. Including everything you’ve already corrected to a LIGHT BULB. This place is not worth time."

"I have been living at PALA MESA for 5 years and have enjoyed making this my home. The office staff especially Cindy and Kirk have always been helpful and attentive to our needs , and very professional always greeted with a friendly smile and took time thier in conversation never felt rushed if I had any concerns. It’s a beautiful complex and beautiful dog park maintained very well. It’s been a pleasure making this my home the past 5 years. Maintenance is always on top of getting things done."

"I was a resident at this facility for a year, all was okay until it was time to move out. They attempted to charge us extra fees of over $400 which we were able to resolve after a huge hassle. Then continuing onto our security deposit, only half was returned. They charged us for carpet cleaning after we got it cleaned ourselves with a receipt. They also charged us about 10 different move out taxes and made us pay to “touch up” the walls that were damaged from water damage due to structural issues. Would not recommend to others."

"There's a lot to say, but I'll do my best to keep it within the character limit. Management will genuinely hate you and only care about how much money they can squeeze out of you. Make sure you get everything in the writing before agreeing to anything because they will lie and change the terms just so they can penalize you. You also won't have AC all summer, and if you try to put in a maintenance ticket they'll just tell you "it's not going to get fixed, but some tenants have been without AC for longer so you'll be fine." And you'd better not have any pets, they are very much not welcome here. If management doesn't make it hostile enough, the infestation of scorpions and black widows absolutely does. I cannot overstate this last point enough. It's not just "life in the desert", the amount of scorpions you will find in your bed is absolutely ridiculous."

"I thought I liked living here but towards the end and with breaking my lease there i was miserable. Definitely felt discrimination for having a child while living up stairs.front office definitely made me feel awful for a noise complaint. When breaking my lease we had to call numerous times to find out the amount to break the lease then they told us we couldn't sign the broken Lease agreement until paid in full. When we paid and called to get the lease emailed to us they then said the amount was more because it needed taxes so we paid that then the lease was dated wrong so we had to go into the office to sign and that was awkward because they waited last minute close to closing to send it over. I felt like for three office agents it would of been an easier process it felt like they were playing games and i had to call and explain each time . I was charged fees for issues with the sink which I had got "fixed" about three different times. Lots of fees for things that were already missing or broken but you don't notice right away when moving in. My neighbor that made the complaints would bang on the walls agressively and sometimes I didn't feel safe to walk to my car ."
