The Joshua Apartments

"I took a tour with Sam today and he was seriously one of the best leasing agents I've come across! He was extremely welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. I love how he highlighted all of the great amenities in the community and made sure I left with all my questions answered. I toured a handful of properties today, and this was hands down the best one from the customer service to the community itself. Such a lovely place and staff!"

"Just toured The Joshua and it is beautifully remodeled. The community manager Hannah gave me a tour since the staff was busy. She was awesome and very knowledgeable! Amenities have recently been remodeled and look amazing. Dual pane windows and the sliding glass doors are a great upgrade. Will definitely help save money on heating and cooling. Nice to see an ownership take pride and put money in their property."

"This was my partner and my first apartment together. Sam and Yvette at the leasing office in particular made our experience so wonderful. They were always quick to help and provided us support throughout the entirety of the time we rented here. Maintenance was responsive and helpful, neighborhood was quiet and well-kept, a perfect apartment for our needs. Every resident I've talked to has had positive experiences here. BEAUTIFUL botanic gardens, great pool/lounge areas. Would highly recommend!"

"We just helped a friend move here. Nice nice units. Clean exteriors of buildings. Appliances are a bit questionable. Very fair price. Nice amenities. Units are appropriate for all ages really."

"I have lived here for over 7 years and it's gone downhill. The latest management company has been "remodeling" for the past year or so. I don't know who picked out the paint colors but white buildings?! Nothing like blinding light being reflected into my kitchen first thing in the morning. Also, because they're redoing the front office (again, though last time was by the last management company), they're working out of an apartment right now. I will admit that the changes they made to the other apartments are nice looking (attached pictures come from the temporary "office") but my apartment is terrible with things they won't fix and they won't let us move to a different way apartment unless we pay all these fees. I don't want it that much, thanks. Oh, and when our lease was up last year, they tried to increase our rent by $500 to be current with "market value" but I told her that we wouldn't pay that much unless our apartment was also upgraded to "market value". Of course they wouldn't do that but our rent still went up by almost $350. Ridiculous! As mentioned by other reviewers, the office is hard to get ahold of unless you go in person, the trash is almost always overflowing, there only seems to be 2 maintenance guys and we don't want one of them in our place because he tore up the floor the last time they "fixed" our fridge. David is nice, though. Honestly, these apartments were built in the 80's, so what can you expect from that? Loud neighbors, barking dogs, parking is terrible (especially if you have 2 cars and come home late at night), the usual. People constantly move in and out and I'm disgusted by how much they are charging now, but that's true for pretty much anywhere in Metro Phoenix. I would not recommend this place at all."
