"Terrible experience. Dennis the Manager was a nice guy sometimes. But then an hour later he accused us of smoking in the room, while two other guests were smoking within a few feet of our door. And he doesn't just ask and tell you not to. He bangs on the door and SCREAMS... that we better not be smoking in the room. Crazy. And also, he would NOT let me have my service dog. He even screamed at us when I had to stop in for a few minutes and I had the dog with me. I was NOT going to leave him in the car. The telephone didn't work. Not usually an issue but my cell broke. Oh yeah. His wife has a dog living there and she walks it back and forth in front of our room only. Pretty obvious since there's only asphalt there. Besides, she seems like a person that doesn't clean up after her dog anyway. Another entitled weirdo"

"I called on Friday March 18th and talked with Dennis about renting a room with a kitchenette. The room we needed was waiting for a king bed to arrive, and would than be available to rent. Dennis asked my name, and told me to call Monday. He told me he would let his wife know he had spoken to me about it. Dennis was very nice, and professional. So i called Monday as instructed. His wife picked up, and I told her I had talked to Dennis, and asked if the room was ready to be rented. She said it was not ready. I asked when u could call back to rent the room, and she told me to call in a few days. I than called on Tuesday, and she told me the room is already rented. I responded with confusion, and she hung up on me. Talk about RUDE and unprofessional. So i went down to the location to see if they had any other rooms, and was greeted with the same awful customer service she gave me on the phone. I told her that it was very unprofessional to behave the way they had to me, and she closed her door in my face. So i politely let her know I would be giving her a bad review when I heard the voice of a young man behind me saying "bad reviews won't hurt us" . So shocked about being treated this way."

"East Mesa motel is in a largely industrial area and seems to be used mostly by travelling contractors. Although not really a place for families this motel is a good home base for a guy in the area to do a job or in my case to process a storage unit full of stuff. The room was cleaner than I expected and equipped with fridge, stove, and microwave but no utensils. Since I was planning to car camp across the country I had cooking gear and the little kitchenette worked great for me. The a/c did struggle to keep up on the brutal 115 degree days. I found the trick is to aim the vents at about 45 so the a/c can mix the warm and cool air and then the room cooled off ok. If you are looking for a basic place to hunker down while getting a job done the East Mesa Inn is fine, for most travellers you might want to spend more money for a bit more comfort. The staff is polite and helpful but not particularly friendly (nor unfriendly, just businesslike). Parking is a little tight but ample."

"Stayed here a number of times. For the price it's the best deal. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable with large flat screen tv. However they don't supply rooms with box of facial tissue, which I thought was standard. Staff for the most part are friendly. And there Wi-Fi network is spotty at times. All and all its becoming my favorite place to stay in the east valley."
