"Ashley’s use to be my favorite furniture store. We have purchased a complete new house of furniture from this company but no more. I had just purchased a $2,300 sectional couch , picked it up and loved it in my home. Then 3 days later I purchased 2 abstract paintings went to pick them up the next day which is a 30 minute drive from the store and 59 minute drive from our home only to be told that our purchase was cancelled. After 35 minutes or so of backs and forth with a Cust Svc agent over the phone I finally got in touch with the store and after 30 minutes on hold and back and forth I was told that the order was cancelled because I owed money from a previous purchase of a couch which was done through a finance company progressive. I asked, well I do not owe you are progressive any money because I just started a new lease with them on some tires for my car so it could not be them. I asked for my money back they said they would not give it back that would have to be from the home office and that I cannot ever purchase anything from Ashley’s again. So I called my bank explained that I purchased an item from a store and have my receipt, the store cancelled this purchase and I have paperwork to show it and they are not refunding my money. My bank gave me my money back, are investigating Ashley’s business practice and I will never shop at Ashley’s furniture again. And will post this everywhere to make sure others will do the same…"

"The store closes at 8 and we were outside at 7:30, the old cotton hair gentleman came near the door and just made hand gestured at us that they were closed and signaling us “no” that was so disrespectful the least he could have done is open the door and let us know their policy or rules it’s not like we were going to run in as soon as he opened the door he clearly has no customer service skills or human decency who even does that? Definitely should not be working in customer service he clearly has no patience or energy to handle customers. Luckily Cesar did come open the door minutes after and explained to us that they lock the doors 30 mins before closing for security which is understandable and we appreciated him explaining that to us he was very helpful and informative all we needed was to go look at 1 couch in person and leave. Nevertheless that old man needs to get a different job"

"First, I want to say that my actual shopping experience and interaction with the show room was good. I would have rated it 4 stars. If I didn't consider the pick up process and experience. But since this is a WHOLE experience. I have to give a 1 star and I would love for Management to reach out to me. My husband went to the warehouse to pick up my purchase. After waiting some time he was informed that there had been another customer who had also purchased these items and they took too many boxes. They were bringing them back and for that reason my order couldn't be picked up. They attempted to have my husband come back another day. He refused because one he's a trucker and not in town everyday and two his time is valuable. 4 hours later the other customer brought back the items and the employee told my husband that the reason they took too many is because they are Mexican and can't read. I don't have to tell you how inappropriate that was and thank goodness at that time my son was in the truck and not beside his dad! This is not only unprofessional but also hints at an inventory control issue. How is it possible that someone accidentally takes units that they didn't pay for? This will be the absolute last time I ever do business with a company that not only allows racist behavior like this but poor accountability and overall horrible customer service. The wait due to business isn't an issue. The wait because of an error like this is unacceptable."

Especially to Jennifer who mainly explained a lot of terminology to me. Looking to become a first time buyer for my new apartment, so this was definitely appreciated! Thank you again!"

"I was greeted and then walked around , all the sales team was in a bunch of just talking, when I needed help they could not find the lady who was helping me. The person who was helpful but did not know anything is a lady from customer service. I wanted to buy a full set and drop 3-4 thousand dollars. But now I rather go to the competitive bobs maybe if I see something there I would buy. Dear Ashley , train your employees not to be in a bunch or sitting down on the couches. It looks in professional."
