"Room was fine. The breakfast is nothing more than packaged muffins, belvita snack packs and apples. They had no caffeinated coffee. The front desk personnel said they ran out a few days ago. This room was booked on points and they charged our credit card as well."

"This is a great hotel. Close to everything in Tempe, but not in all the crazy traffic and noise. The beds are super comfy. Getting in and out of the hotel is easy. The front desk staff really was the best. Every person on the team was great to interact and talk to. This is my go-to hotel when I am in Phx."

"The room 219 didn't have a working locking door. The dust was so bad on the top of the headboard that my partner had allergies the whole time. There was mold in the accessible shower. The room phone wasn't even connected. The rooms are a bit claustrophobic and them being dirty doesn't help. Their beds are on the softer side (which isn't what I like). The night desk clerk was awesome. During the day I did not receive the same service. This experience is similar to staying in a nicer Motel 6, definitely not worth the money."

"The staff at the property are extremely friendly and very helpful. I sat at front desk/bar multiple times and had several conversations with them during my visit. They were also willing to store my bags when I arrived early before check in. As well as when I was still in the area after check out. Here would be my lists of pro's and con's about the property. Pros: * Very friendly staff * Comfortable beds * Clean Bathrooms with nice showers * Affordable * Safe Area * Walkable to several areas around Tempe and Scottsdale * Good beer selection at lobby bar area and nice little hangout spots for just lounging around. *Affordable drinks and snacks at lobby store Cons: * 1st floor rooms are loud. Might want to bring earplugs due to all the outside and inside noises. * Cleaning staff did not come to my room to change sheets, clean or supply fresh towels. I was there for a week. * My room key deactivated itself multiple times and had to be reset 4 different nights in order for me to get into my room. * Location is advertised to have "Free Breakfast" which currently is just a couple of pre packaged muffins that they sit out on the counter in the morning. I believe they were building a breakfast bar area while I was there. Outside of the very few couple of areas mentioned above, I enjoyed my stay here."

"I've been a Wyndham owner and credit card holder for many years and have frequented several Wyndham hotels over the years. When I booked the reservation, I had requested Scottsdale/Old town location. I was booked for a Tempe property instead (18-20 min from desired location). The room needed some repairs: black-out curtain was broken and didn't close fully, hairdryer was broken, the carpets were extremely dirty and need a major cleaning, some of the furniture showed a lot of wear and tear and bed was a little hard. I loved some of the retro touches (vintage mini fridge and microwave, table lights, etc.) and vintage decor in the lobby."
