The Westin Tempe

"We stayed for the weekend and had an awesome time. The room was great, the restaurant was convenient, and Joey from valet was top notch. Joey’s professionalism, attention to detail, and personality definitely secured my return to this location. PLEASE get these guys a tip QR code, so people can easily tip them. Unfortunately one star is knocked off for the late night desk clerk, we returned super late with 2 kids and she just stood behind the desk the ENTIRE time she watched us fumbling with 2 fully asleep small kids trying to gain access to the hotel we paid for. It was obvious that we stayed there and we were having trouble getting in and was basically ignored. (I don’t see you through the glass door type of service). I felt it was quite unprofessional. Maybe train your people that for “security reasons” if you see a group of people in front of the entrance late night for an extended amount of time you may want to at least inquire about what’s going on, as valet is outside and can help assess the situation. Just a suggestion for security protocols in general."

"Stayed at the Westin while in town for a conference. The staff was on top of their game before I even arrived contacting me about details about my upcoming stay. When I arrived the valets took great care to assist me in my arrival and check in taking care of my luggage and vehicle. The front desk staff was very friendly, they quickly got me checked in and explained the amenities included in my stay. There is a "destination fee" but they explained what exactly that entailed and how to get the most for my money. The fee included food and drink credits, coffee shop credit, drinks at the bar, and even bicycle rental. The room was beautifully appointed, very clean and had a nice view of the city. The bed was so comfortable. Made it difficult to get up in the morning. The rooftop pool and lounge was great to relax after being at a conference all day. Loved that this is in the final approach and departure envelope with air traffic going in and out of Sky Harbour. I loved the plane spotting. Really enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast, the eggs benedict were super good. The waitstaff here great. Also had the need to get in touch with the accounting staff to hunt down a receipt. Brittney in accounting was very helpful and very fast in helping me with my small issue."

"I just had probably one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The vouchers that came with the room were awesome, coffee, 2 free margs, $28 food/bev voucher. The rooftop pool/bar has great views. Checkout is 11a standard, I was able to check-in early with no hassle. The steak and eggs were legitimately amazing. The whole staff was great and friendly. This may read like a fever dream, but it was real, and I can’t recommend the hotel enough."

"Perfect location. The hotel is well appointed and service is great. The bar downstairs is awesome and the one on the rooftop is cool but no working heaters. There is a wired smell in the lobby sometimes. But some are nice and spacious. Great views of the city"

"From the moment I drove up and the valet greeted me I knew my stay would be amazing. The valet attendant was extremely nice and helpful and very personable. I was really expecting everyone to be a little on the grumpy side because they are working on Christmas but it was quite the opposite. I was also impressed with the checkin as well. She offered me to choose my checkout time which I rarely get asked. The rooms are incredible, clean and comfortable. So comfortable I literally ordered a pillow. Now the good stuff, the restaurant is amazing! The service and food is insane good! I was alone this Christmas Eve and Christmas and they really made me feel comfortable and invited. I can tell the management here is great because they have great employees. Thank you everyone for being a part of my Christmas and I hope to be back soon!"
