"Customer service was "above and beyond". I Ordered a custom Onyx lavatory (bath countertop with integrated sink) that arrived 1/4" wider than ordered on the left side, and it "appeared" 1/4" short on the other. They called Onyx while I was still there to get another one ordered...and THEN...after I left...they removed the thing from the box...realized it was not actually 1/4" short on the right side...it only appeared to be when nested in the packaging...AND they trimmed the right side that was too wide...turning it into exactly what I ordered...and THEN...Chad delivered it to me so I wouldn't have to drive back out to Olathe from Lawrence! I can't begin to express my surprise and deep appreciation for their thoughtfulness. Almost unheard of these days. I'll totally be back...even though I live in Lawrence."
"Since Sutherlands built a new store close to my house, I've been shopping there frequently. I buy most everything I need there IF they have it available. This spring I bought some azaleas and most of them didn't make it. Unfortunately, Sutherlands will not take returns on live plants unless you pay full price. If you got them on sale even for 1 cent off, they are not returnable. I've also been denied a return on a few other defective items. If you shop at Sutherlands and the item is defective, you've now been warned that you may or may not get a refund, depending on who you get at the return counter and their mood of the day."
"Always great to go into a place with great customer service. Recommend a power washer and did not over sell. Best place for lumber and great delivery people. Couldn’t believe how fast they were and so nice."
"Great deals on plants but not a big selection. I was expecting to find sun plants or roses and they didn't carry any. Got a great deal on tomato plant thou. Looked at grills. Priced about the same or higher than other places."
"Been a big fan of Sutherlands for years. Was sad when they closed Olathe store about five years ago. This new store is layed out very well and has a decent medium priced furniture section. They have the "best' quality of wood of any big box stores! I plan on doing my part to build up their new store."
