"I was expecting a big store but it was really small."
"Big Lots in olathe ks. Staff sat around & wouldn’t even help customers. I asked why they had no shopping carts inside so customers could actually shop.. the young boy not working playing on his phone told me that customers can walk back outside & get a cart from the cart ben that was out in the parking lot!! If I wanted to do their job , I would but after 16 hrs working at a hospital… doing another person job while they refuse to work & just play on their phone:.. I just tossed my supplies that I wasted 45mins picking out onto the floor & left !! I refuse to do everyone else job while they no longer even check out customers/.. but still playing on his phone is completely inexcusable and I won’t go to big lots in Olathe ever again now!!!"
"Prices on several items were marked lower than what they rang up. The cashier got who they said was their manager-Elaine, who was rude and said the prices were what was rang up. I showed her one of the items where it had 50% signs all over the items but wasn’t coming up with any percentage off. She then began ripping off the 50% signs and said she didn’t know who did that but it wasn’t part of their sale. I informed her that was false advertising and said, “So you aren’t going to honor your advertisement?”. She said they were not on sale and I asked her how people know what the actual prices are in the store since none of my items actually rang up correctly. She just repeated these weren’t on sale and walked off. I returned my other items and decided to not make any purchases. This is definitely a pretty shady place to go…"
"Really, just went in because I haven't been into a Big Lots recently. They still have some great stuff at affordable prices. Staff seemed friendly & helpful. I will definitely be shopping here more often."
