"I really enjoy shopping at Menards and wish there was one closer. I live within a few blocks of a Lowes and a Home Depot, but I enjoy going to Menards. They have a better selection of everything, and their prices are typically better. I am always greeted, and their associates ask if they can assist, which never happens at the orange store. My only suggestion would be to have a few self check registers and more cashiers on hand."
"I'll never buy something from here if I have to pick it up in the back yard. Most of the store is fine. Helpful staff, decent prices. Hate the stupid rebate program. But I have twice had to pick up an item I just paid for in the back yard, and good luck, you are on your own. Wasted about 20 minutes trying to find my item. Was given wrong directions by 2 people and eventually found it, unmarked except for the SKU in the item its self. Menards must be doing well, because they certainly don't need my business."
"My wife and I used their deck program to design and buy our new deck. Turned out to be a terrible and disappointing and EXPENSIVE mistake. Menards has lost our business for good and we’ve had much better experiences with Owen Lumber. Go there instead!!!"

"If a midwest farmer made a store, this is it. Everything (literally) in one stop under one roof. Childrens toys and books to light bulbs, plants, clothes, cleaning/office supplies, hardwsre, plumbing, groceries, etc. Good luck making sense where it should be but the 11% mail in rebate makes you come back. Currently, they have an 11% rebate. They also carry pots, players and grow lights all year unlike lowes and home depot."
