"Broken hot tub was in total disrepair (zero heat and multiple visibly broken features in addition to filth). We were not warned and were charged the full amount for the room. We would not have stayed here (or driven six hours each way) if we knew. The primary sitting area in the cottage (the couch) was also broken. The room smelled strongly of artificial fragrance. I cannot say for sure, but this is likely to cover either mold or dog related smells. There were clear signs that there had been a history of mold in the unit. The location is great and the staff were polite. That said, there is no ethical way to continue renting out a badly damaged unit at full price without any repairs. It’s completely unconscionable and should have never happened. Take the listing down and do the routine maintenance necessary to make sure you’re able to offer your guests what your advertise and promise to provide. We cut our stay short, unfortunately."

"No one there to check in or greet before 5 pm. Our parking space looked out to the multiple garbage bins (lovely?!), heavily slopes upward to the sewage dump (that's a challenge for flow!) and our space was a wet muddy mess (literally a pond outside our front steps)! Asked some employees to report the problems and they laughed at us. Looked forward to coming here, but soooo disappointed! Pretty sure we have one of the worst , if not the worst, parking space in the whole RV Park...in fact, our neighbor here, said he had this space last year and it was horrible! Not a good start to our vacation...Thanks Turtle Rock RV "Resort"."

"I’ve stayed at a lot of RV parks over the years and I found this one very welcoming. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my early arrival. They were very helpful when I asked about searching for agates on the local beaches. This is really the perfect location for several activity in the areas. Not too far from the Gold Beach Harbor and several restaurants. Apparently it was a Pkwy Salmon And season, because there were enough boats in the mouth of the river that you could probably walk across them and not touch water. And from the looks of it, they had some pretty successful time on the water. It’s just a short walk down the pathway from the RV park under the 101 bridge and right onto the beach. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer."

"My family and I just stayed here for 7 nights, and we loved it so much! It's a nice little campground, with a very short walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and everything was clean! Nice bathrooms and a on site laundry facility. We could never get the wifi to work, but that's OK, we didn't need it anyway, so it wasn't a big deal at all. Thank you for having us!! We will be back again! The views from our site were absolutely beautiful!! Fish jumping in the creek it was just perfect!"
