"As we prepare to build our own home, the wife and I have been back and forth to Bargain Barn quite a few times in the past 12 months. Every visit, we've been met with courteous, knowledgeable, and relaxed staff. The owner, John, has been especially gracious by letting us store purchased items there for months, allowing us credit when we realized we bought the wrong windows, and even making call after call to his suppliers to make sure what we wanted met current code. Once you get used to the rugged look of the place, it's clear how much they value providing exactly the item you need."
"Subpar products, that’s why they’re a “bargain”. Spending double my money now because their products are worthless. “Fast setting” cement took 3 full days to “set”. They don’t stand behind their products. Take your hard earned money elsewhere."
"Customer service is horrible!!!. Young lady who was the cashier needs to fix her attitude and how she talks to customers. It’s pretty depressing the lack of customer service this company has. The next cashier was busy yelling at a customer about his name for his order.. so atmosphere is very hostile..I’d rather pay full price at Lowe’s then buy from here again. We went in to get some trim for our floors ended up paying almost the same as I would at Lowe’s. Definitely not worth coming here unless you want to be treated like trash, get yelled at by there cashiers and not to mention their pricing is non existent most things don’t have a price so you go up to pay not knowing how much your total actually is. Was shocked to pay $50 for 5 basic trim pieces. Horrible shopping experience which is too bad because they did have a good selection of stuff just not the best pricing or quality."
