Lowe's Home Improvement

"Love the selection and competitive prices. Throughout the years, when I can't find something at Home Depot, I shop here. However...and this is a biggy for me...I hate that they downsized staff and it's mostly self-checkout. I'm not lazy, but I'd rather have more people employed here in the US. I know they have to combat the terrible theft issues plaguing America these days (especially at the home improvement store w/expensive tools and such), but it's just not the same shopping experience nowadays. Thieves are bottom-of-the-barrel trash, btw! I do not support company policy where employees are fired for trying to stop thieves. Life is full of "what if's" but the strong and honorable step into action and do what's right...and if it means stopping thieves, I fully support that. Home Depot is my "go-to" and Lowes second...mainly, because they employ more workers, it's easier to find help when needed, they carry most all I ever need (sometimes items are sold out, however), and it's always a good experience there."

"I went into your store on Tuesday 1-9-24 for some lumber products and was pleasantly surprised to get a very helpful employee to help me get what I need at a price that I can afford. He made sure to look around to see what would work and not willing to stop until he got what I needed. Since the pandemic hit it is very hard to find an employee that is dedicated to customer satisfaction and not feeling like he’s being put out to do the work he’s being paid to do. The person I am talking about is Michael in Lumber. I was very pleased with him. You got a keeper with him."

"Pretty Ok. I prefer to park in the pro parking area, which usually has spots and it's much easier to load wood under cover. The wood - like the other big box store can be quite expensive. Staff is nice, but a big issue for me is no means to cut down any wood larger than plywood. Decent selection."

"I had been looking all over for a planter bowl for succulents, couldn't find any. Went to pay my bill and since I hadn't checked here, thought why not. I couldn't believe it. They had exactly what I needed. My mother loved her birthday gift. Thanks Lowes!"

"Been coming to Lowe’s for years and even invested in their Kobalt cordless tools quite extensively. I love the Kobalt lineup, but today’s review is about customer service at this store in Salem, OR. Seems like no one is available to help anymore and I find myself driving a little further to the orange store as their customer service is much better. Today, I have been waiting for someone to come to Paint for about 15 minutes now, I’m second in line. Other employees have paged someone to paint three times now but no one has shown up yet. Waiting…"
