"About a week ago an employee named Ashley...believe last name is maybe Cortee? Well she was busy stocking the eggs and after I noticed some eggs at a low price, I ask her about it. It was incorrect. However, she immediately spoke with her supervisor and made the price right...giving me the eggs at the incorrect labeled price and was asked by her supervisor to make sure the price is corrected. I told her I would put in a good word for her. Apparently she aspires to be a manager. (We briefly chatted while she worked) Having worked in retail myself I mentioned a few reasons to maybe reconsider. When I mentioned that you are paid by a salary, so sometimes you may even get paid less than minimum wage, I also stated that people in management are basically very driven to work extremely hard. They are known as workaholics. Immediately she beamed, saying, "That's me!!!" I do hope she is given that opportunity. I also mentioned that you do often get some of the better benefits as they are well deserved. I'm not of course, but if I was her undercover boss, I would do so, and she probably deserves more? Hopefully this will be a help in her career venture."
"They don’t offer good options for plus sizes and have gotten rid of name brand shoes. All you can find now are mainly MIA, Sketchers, some Bobs. The food section is the best part about Fred Meyer but too expensive."
"Fred Meyers has always been a staple in our household. whether we're just shopping for food, Furnishing the house, picking up school supplies, stocking up on seasonal merchandise, you can get it all here. The produce selection is out of this world with vast selection of organic and non-organic. Although I don't really shop at them, the meat and seafood section is pretty legit and the deli has a wide variety of pre-made food if you're in a hurry. There's also hey Jeweler, Chase Bank, and play area for kids to keep them busy while you shop. Great store to find almost anything."
