Over the next three months, all consigned items will be sold through the normal consignment process, with proceeds needing to be collected by April 30th, 2024. The store will permanently close its doors on May 31st, 2024, as owner Jody is ready to retire. Ruth Jacobs, a trailblazer in the consignment industry, made great business decisions that led to the success of The Maze, which Jody has taken as far as she could. "Good selection and good prices but apparently the owners aren’t paying employees enough because they’re soliciting tips at the register. The employee did not greet me or even verbally acknowledge me at the register until after I told her to have a good day as I left. That was after I had been solicited for a tip. Just because you CAN ask for a tip with your credit card reader, does not mean that you should. 3 stars because you’re running your business poorly and demonstrating that you’re not paying your employees appropriately."
