"Great store, nice people, you can taste coffee before you buy the machine"
"I've gotten coffee a few times here. I do love tasting before buying but the tags are clearly misleading or straight lies. I gravitate towards Guatemalan blends and chose one to buy. Got home and pulled off the SCG labels to find information that countered the Guatemalan origin tags. Looked further online of that brand and found EVEN more inconsistent origins. Now this is either Arkansas(sourced, roasted, bagged), Guatemalan, or Colombian/Ethiopian. In a world of ethics, mis-origin can be the difference of supporting slave labor or not. This is unexceptable"
"Ordered an Ascaso Duo from a competitor in Portland. Before I ordered it I confirmed they had it in stock. After 10 days it still was not shipped, so I cancelled it. After receiving confirmation of refund, I ordered the same machine from Seattle Coffee Gear on Amazon. It was shipped the very next day via FedEx‼️ These guys want you to have your coffee‼️"
"The staff here was super friendly. One of the things I appreciated is they didn’t try to upswell us. When we mentioned the super auto we’d had for the last 12 years, they pointed out some good options at an affordable price range. We actually ended up upgrading from the one we had for the last 12 years to something with more coffee drink options. There was a slight mix up with what the mobile version said for a gift card offer vs what the desktop version showed, but the staff honored the mobile version offer, which was fantastic. I’m really hoping this coffee maker lasts us 12 years like our last one did."
