"I never had a Costco employee that refuses to scan items in the cart with hand held right after double verifying I was a member. Even after having plenty of time just standing there she never offered to help. It's position is taking from an actual working human. I expect this from other big box stores do better COSTCO!"

"Went with my roommate to go grocery shopping, me and roommate tried to split the load because as roommates we are in this together, was told something along the lines of "newer policy states that only the club member can be the person paying".. but you happily let him use your ATM to then hand the card holder (me) some cash.. I'm left speechless by the Idiocracy of policies like this."

"I thought it over for a few days before posting this, and since it is still bothering me, here goes: I am a new member and I have only been in a few times so far, but I have ended up with the same "bagger" each time and now I'm wondering if it is because more experienced members know to avoid her and that is why the line is shorter. Anywho, I had a very pleasant and casual exchange with her the last few times I was in, until the last time. The only difference this time is that I had my son with me. He is very obviously mixed race, and this time, she was way too excited to see us. We were wearing masks and so was she, but that didn't stop her from swooping in and putting her face inches from mine while she probed me with personal questions about our past. I am disabled and said at least 5 times that I needed to focus on the transaction, and was giving answers like I don't know, and I can't remember, but it was like she was on autopilot. It was odd and frustrating, but the part that I can't stop thinking about was at the end she got way too close again to tell me she was 64, had lived in Lacey her whole life, and that I would not BELIEVE how bad it used to be. Now, I'm not from here, but I have been corned by several old white people who want me to know that they "used to work in Tacoma so they get it" or some other coded way of being racist. What a ridiculously irrelevant thing to force into unwanted conversation with a customer. I'm not one to let a micro-aggression slide, but I was so thrown by her lack of physical boundaries and contrast to my past experiences with her, that I didn't tell her right then and there that it was inappropriate. So there ya go. Beware of hippie looking racist lady at the checkout, she does not understand personal space."

"This place has a little of everything. We were traveling through town and of course it’s my wife’s favorite to put gas because it saves us some money as well as gives points on the credit card. However, she wanted to go inside to use the restroom and then it ended up getting some snacks and foods for the travel journey also. Moreover, since it was our wedding anniversary, she selected some jewelry too. so it is a great place which ever way you look at it."

"Costco is an amazing place to ship! Though you need a membership for most features and amenities, it is so worth it in a number of ways!"
