"Alvin was most helpful in answering all of my questions regarding purchase of a new bed, including financing and layaway purchase and delivery. DJ and Jeff were most helpful in moving my old bed to a different bedroom and setting up my new bed, ensuring it was operational and explaining the need for allowing the mattress time for off-gassing. My only complaint is that their route was over full and that necessitated my delivery being much later than originally informed."

"Organization for delivery/install has been an issue. While the selection was fine (not extensive, but fine), I purchased an In Stock model with a 2-3 week lead time for delivery and installation. Two months later, and still no working range in my kitchen. Some delays were no one’s fault, and I’ve made every effort to be easygoing and even cheerful, but the last delay is pure carelessness on Standard’s part. A week ago my install couldn’t be completed due to an issue with electrical compatibility - no one’s fault. They left the range here in my dining room and scheduled an electrician for 9 days later; not the end of the world, see you in nine days, pay the electrician after install. Only they never scheduled the electrician on the install team because the fee was never paid - the fee I was never invoiced for, and was told would be run after the install electrician saw what needed to be done and knew what to charge. It took me 10 seconds to pay the fee through a text link that I didn’t receive until I CALLED THEM the day of my installation, after waiting all day and never getting a call or a visit. Now I have to wait ANOTHER two weeks before our family of five can get the stove out of our dining room and I can start actually cooking for my family again. Individual people in Delivery and Install have been as nice as can be, but someone dropped the ball somewhere; we won’t risk shopping here again. EDIT : only after leaving a scathing review was I given any kind of real response. Turns out there was an available time the next day (today!!!) GREAT!!! Only guess what - cancelled again. Now being told the “best they can do” is next week. So glad I believed the scheduler yesterday and agreed to host guests tonight, because I’d finally be able to use my range. Take out again."

"I have dealt with this company now on and off for 20 years. I am done trying to shopping around as while other placers may have lower prices when you look at the consumer reports and research like I do you will find that you are better off dealing with Standard TV and appliance. The small difference in price is a major quality upgrade. I also find that the salesmen are better then an employee at a Home Depot and you get a much better selection then a store that sells everything."
