The unit itself is in a great location close to state street, yoga & cycling studios, a grocery store, amongst other things. Overall would recommend Domain!"

"They shut the water off 1-2 times a month for "maintenance." How they need to do this much maintenance on a building that is less than 10 years old is beyond me."

"TL;DR—great for UW students, way too much money for bad customer service if you’re not a student I’m a current resident on my second year-long lease at Domain. The location is awesome and my apartment itself is a nice sized one bedroom, but I’m really eager to move to a different downtown complex and don’t recommend moving in here unless you’re a UW student. I think this is the first negative review I’ve written… ever in my life lol, but I moved up here from out of state as a young professional and wish someone else had told me this. In general, Domain is run like a college apartment. Community areas aren’t well taken care of (messy elevators, garage doors constantly broken, etc.). The maintenance team is really nice and hard-working and does their best to keep up, but things are constantly going wrong. Management is extremely impersonal and the customer service is the worst I’ve had at an apartment complex. They straight up don’t respond to emails unless they’re looking for information from you. The first red flag that’s really stuck with me was getting a letter 3 months into my first lease telling me to resign a lease for the next year within 2 weeks of receiving the letter or else they’d raise the rent rate. I ended up resigning but shared feedback about the letter, and they told me that it was a Fiduciary (parent company) policy. To me it reiterates that Fiduciary complexes are banking on college students filling spaces and don’t create policies to attract residents outside of the university umbrella. All said, I love living so close to State St and Domain apartments themselves are nice, but if you’re a young professional, there’s better bang for your buck at other complexes downtown."
