"Oure room was super clean and the beds were comfortable, but it was the smallest room I have ever been in. we were bumping into each other and it was tight. Staff was amazing. The guy at the front desk was the best. Seriously, HE WAS THE BEST! Keep that guy! Location was not bad but we would have liked to been closer to our event. That being said, the price made up for any shortfall in location."
"Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, good beds. Can't beat spot on the square. Pool and exercise areas are very nice. Great space for large groups to gather, like travel teams. Parents, beware pool (which is decent size) starts at 4 feet, not 3, so not great for younger kids. Several pool side rooms are very convenient! Parking tip: Don't pay the $25 plus tips to park at hotel, unless you need to leave during your stay. Park literally across the street to the SE. Capitol Square South garage by Canteen. $10 flat 24 hr fee on weekends. 1 minute walk is worth it!"
"Beautiful downtown Madison hotel, directly across the Capitol building. Presidential suites are amazing with views of the Capitol and the lakefront. Floor to ceiling windows. Modern feel. Lots of room in case you need to have a small group meeting. Wonderful place. Front desk ws very friendly. Valet service well worth the $25. Grabbed a couple drinks in the hotel bar woth some friends."
"This was such nice stay for us! It was our anniversary and we so enjoyed the convenience of being right ON the square. We were able to walk to dinner as well as a production at the Overture Center. Our rol. Was spacious and quite lovely. Valet parking was sweet!"
"Best Western at the Capital in Madison has gone through some renovations in the last few years and all for the better. What a great job they did updating the lobby and guest rooms and creating comfortable and inviting spaces. The view of the capital, if it can be had, is amazing, especially at night and higher up. I especially enjoyed our room. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were spot on. The service was friendly and definitely Midwestern hospitality. It's only a small gripe and not really anything huge, but a couple of staff could use a bit of polish on use of vulgarity. It was not of anger or anything like that, just in general conversation, but certainly not necessary."
