Lyric Apartments

"I've lived at the Lyric for three years and I'm confident that it is the highest quality living experience I will ever have. The location is unbeatable, the rooftop is unparalleled in its view of the lakes and Breese Stevens stadium. I will always cherish the memories I made there watching the FMFC soccer games with friends and enjoying the 4th of July fireworks. Sound is pretty much as insulated as you can get with a large scale apartment building - I never had noise problems. Even though the common area is amazing, the apartments are so nice that I rarely felt the need to use it. But I do regret not using the gym more, you'll never work out with a better view than what you'll get here. Also, if you get a window facing E Wash, you're guaranteed to have incredible natural lighting that your house plants will love. Maintenace is always fast and the staff are very nice. It's probably the best place to live in all of Madison."

"We really wanted to live here. The location, the building, the view. What we didn't expect was a property management group that was incapable of ensuring liveable accommodations. Problems that most groups are able to solve. But this group is seemingly either not interested or curious in this. They'd rather actively ask for 5 star reviews as opposed to earn them. First off, while we love dogs, the grounds around this place are disgusting. Many pet owners in the building do not pickup. And the amount of yellow snow you see this time of year reminds you of what is under the snow. Our a/c was out 5 times over the summer where we had to pick up and go and get a room elsewhere. And then the worst part is the noise from the weightroom on the top floor. Aside from being insufferable, the property management group Stone House Development is incapable of finding a solution and basically says if you don't like it, move. This is their best solution. And apparently, its ours as well. And we can't move fast enough. So if you don't live on a floor near the top, it wont bother you. if living in the center of a dog park is for you, this is the place, and if you don't mind your a/c not working when you need it most, you found your next home. Not for us. And while we can overlook some apartment dwelling life challenges, giving our money to a property management group to do nothing about these issues is not in our stars."

"My son Kory lived in Lyric for a very brief two months. He loved the experience so very much. Unfortunately, he had a very tragic accident and passed away. The Lyric management staff was absolutely tremendous in accommodating us to retrieve his pet cat and all of his belongings. I want to give special praise to Kaelyn Gabathuler and the building manager Marcus who were so extremely helpful in providing everything we needed to move out Kory’s items that day. They made a horrible, sad day as painless as possible through their amazing level of helpfulness. They also alleviated any stress in having to deal with remaining lease costs for the year. They handled everything allowing us to have one less thing to worry about in our time of grief. Obviously we don’t have a great amount of time reference in regard to living at Lyric apartments, but with fantastic people like this working there, it must be a great place to live."

"I've lived in the Lyric Apartments for close to a year, and it has been my favorite apartment rental to-date. The facilities are clean, the staff is very kind and friendly, and I value the amenities -- coffee/espresso machine in lobby, heated garage, dog washing station, top-floor gym with expansive Lake Mendota views, top-floor lounge room with access to wrap-around deck featuring stunning views of both Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. The staff also puts a lot of effort into holiday decor and celebrations - trick or treating, Christmas lights, etc. - which makes apartment-life feel more homey. Best of all, the tenants are very friendly - lots of hellos and greetings on the elevator. Rare to find such an enjoyable renting experience."

"My husband and I have lived at The Lyric for almost two years. It's been an exceptional experience - the public areas and amenities are cleaned/maintained regularly and kept secure. The apartment interior finishes are really great quality. The property management on-site is friendly and helpful and do a wonderful job of decorating and celebrating holidays. The views of the 11th floor are truly some of the best views of the city. Overall wonderful experience!"
