"This hotel was a great last minute decision for my friend and I who had two consecutive days of concerts at the Sylvee in Madison. It was 12 minutes from the venue, clean, staff was nice and accommodations were good as well. We shared a king room for the two of us and not only was it affordable, but comfortable. Definitely recommend! They also allow 18+ to check in as some hotels don’t regardless of the law in the state of WI. Overall good experience!"
"Terrible experience. Rooms were not that clean. Paper thin walls. Domestic dispute in the hallway. I changed rooms and the second one had a squeaky bed. (First bed was comfortable). Plus the pool and hot tub were not working. Will not stay here again"
"Great water pressure, temperature & rain shower head. The room appointed with mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, & safe. Breakfast was inedible. Waffles stuck to maker. Sausage tasted horrible. No oatmeal, no cereal. Boiled eggs, bagels, toast, yogurt. The mattress was soft (See photo). And it was on top of metal spring (See photo) The pillows were fat and hard, not able to use. I'm not sure why all the reviews say this place is dirty- it is not. I think what people are seeing are the rub/scrape marks on the wall from luggage and luggage carts. If they used better quality paint, it wouldn't show so much. The front desk staff is deplorable. Not providing proper customer service. Unwelcoming, condescending. They have a mini bus that shuttles guests to Camp Randall, however after the game you have to wait for 1 hour. It was so terribly cold. Had we known ahead of time, we would have gotten ride share. We didn't use pool, when we walked by hot tub had lots of foam. Lobby is welcoming. Parking lot very well lit. I didn't think it was a dangerous neighborhood. The walls and floors are Very thin. You can hear everything from your neighbors."
