"Photos are definitely photoshopped! There’s a bunch of maintenance people just sitting down not doing anything. Hiding behind the trees next to the trash cans. All comfortable sitting down in a white chair , peaking around like a creep. Maintenance lady digging in the trash bins breaking down recycling cans (unnecessary) literally! Neighbors are drug addicts! Be careful around your car inside the building. You either find a psychopath leaving behinds his trademarks or a homeless sleeping in your driveway. These apartments are ghetto, cheap, old and your unit could have potential of MOLD. Water shut downs frequently, disgusting laundry facilities with pet hair all over washers & dryers. No gym false advertisement online, machines are rusted, old and broken, what a waste of room. They could really make that room useful by adding more washers for units of 2-3 bedrooms. People be washing two months of laundry clothes in a tiny little washer. Such a sad place!"

"Hello, office secretary and maintenance was great. However, when I vacated the apartment everything was cleaned throughly. When I moved in 2 years ago. We did not have new carpeting. I was charged $170 for cleaning and the another $220.00 for carpet replacement. I would recommend taking pictures prior to moving in and after you move out. California, to have as much money as it does certainly does not help the middle class. No wonder so many are moving out of that state."

"New Management is really bringing the place back up. lots of remodeling going on. Service request get attended promptly, love the online rent option, makes it much easier to pay rent rather than having to buy money orders rushing back from work before office closes. I can truly say the place feels a lot safer than before, all the shrubs got cleared out and really allowed more lighting to come through. Before It was kind of scary walking out at night with fear of someone hiding in or behind a bush. But now its all cleared out and the place looks well lit up. The landscape gets attended on a weekly basis. Office is open Monday - Sunday im guessing to keep up with all the tenants requests. 24 hour maintenance emergency at night is a plus. Not sure what all the complaints are about I guess some folks really don't like change. But this change has actually been good. Kudos!! The apartment company has really done a great job, I've even taken a time to drive around some of their other Communities and they all look great, I cant wait to see this one look like those also. There was a time when a lot of residents moved out, I think due to all the change I honestly think those move outs really helped the place get rid of all the trouble going on. I myself cant complain I've seen this place go from bad to good, looking forward to see what new changes come about."

"If I could give this place less than one star I would. The reasons why no one should be burdened by living here are endless. The management is never around, so if you have a complaint or a real problem, expect that they won't show up to work, or be reachable by phone. The laundry machines which are expensive, maybe sometimes work? So of course you spend 5 dollars on washing and drying only to find out after the fact that your clothes are not clean or dry. The management also does nothing about this. Expect your water to be turned off randomly without notice. If you like showing up to work clean, make sure you have a backup place to shower, because Mesa Gardens has a habit of just deciding to turn off the water at 8:00am on a weekday. This has happened multiple times without notice, because that would be too decent of course. They put a note on our door on a Saturday saying that they only accept rent Monday through Friday when rent was due on Saturday. So stupid. Also they lied about the amount of rent due, this has happened for multiple people. They also have a habit of lying through their teeth. The promotion that they had for recommending the apartment complex to a friend, they just never followed through with. Such shady management. All of these things alone are incredibly irritating, together absolutely awful. If all those things together weren't bad enough rent is decently high."
