Ayres Hotel Vista / Carlsbad

"We used the Ayres hotel as our primary hotel for our wedding in nearby San Marcos. The hotel was incredibly clean, well-located with plenty of food options nearby, and had a really nice back lobby with omelets made-to-order for breakfast. It served as a nice bar at night. What really stood out to us, though, was the incredibly kind staff. In particular, Sherrina, Carl, and Alphonse were warm, conversational, and helpful with so many requests all weekend long. They allowed us to store our wedding flowers for two nights in one of the meeting rooms, and even adjust the default AC to keep them fresh and full for our Sunday wedding. They went out of their way to help us load our extra wedding supplies in and out of the lobby, and were constantly asking for ways they could help us out, or if everything was alright. We really appreciated their team, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"My husband and I stayed here last year. We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. The staff were all very kind and courteous. Breakfast is included and they had a lot of options such as eggs, bacon, bagels, etc. They also make some breakfast items to order. The locations is also great right off a main road and close to other shops and areas. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"I have stayed here twice in 2 months ...My son lives in San Diego I was looking for a nice affordable pet friendly ( and pet affordable) safe place to stay and this hotel has not disappointed...the Hotel staff are really nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious...the rooms are comfortable ...love that they don't charge a lot to bring your pet was so happy I could bring her to see my son and was affordable for me ... We will always stay there if possible when in the area. I did have a slight issue with making our reservations I left a message for a Manger and received a call from the General Manager he was awesome such a nice man and the issue was taken care of and I was totally impressed that someone called me back ...Thank you for the Great Service!"

"Don't want to brag about it too much, give others ideas. This place is first class. A little off the beaten path, and the parking was full at 2am when we rolled in, but parked in an electric car spot. The room was new, clean, and spacious. Check out at noon was appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, especially the made to order omelettes. Brought children they enjoyed the pool/spa."

"Where do I start? This location and the staff is amazing! The fact that they offer early check-in, an open bar and pizza bar in the evening to night, delicious breakfast, and the cleanliness/ambiance of the rooms and hotel itself. This is the ideal hotel stay I imagined for a quick trip. Will 100% come back next time I visit and will be recommending this location to friends and family.
