"This is an email that I’ve sent to UDR properties in response to the false accusations of rent not being paid. I sent an email with all documentation proving rent was paid. From my understanding this is an ongoing issue with UDR properties they are extremely unprofessional, unorganized and difficult to get a hold of. These people have threatened our family with eviction due to rent not being paid which is simply untrue. Read below! If you are reading UDR shame on you!! Hello, I have been trying for days to get a hold of someone within the UDR leasing department due to a major discrepancy in our payment records. This issue need to be addressed and resolved in a timely and urgent manner as we are being threatened with eviction. We received a notice that our December rent was not paid and there has been no record of receipt according to UDR properties. However, as you can see attached I have provided bank statements, and receipt that the payment was in fact made. This is an abhorrent inconvenience to our family and is unbecoming of a professional property management company such as UDR. Short of providing all financial statements and records that our rent was paid in full for the month of December and November, we are exploring our legal options. We would like a resolution promptly and in the meantime we will be contacting the proper housing and California rental agencies to file proper complaints against UDR. "The apartments themselves, appeared clean and in maintained condition, but the application process is a total scam. After I submitted the application and paid $411 as a total for the application fees and application deposit holds then I was prompted to contact the leasing office, I tried and tried to get through and could not. Nobody answered my repeated calls or they got routed to corporate and back. Then I got a text from "the leasing office" stating that I didn't submit the required documentation so my application would be canceled. I did submit the documents via email as instructed, but apparently I was supposed to text that number when i emailed my documents. I had no idea, the phone number it gave me to call the leasing office was different then the number I was supposed to text. Just an easy cash grab for udr, I suppose. Cuz the idea that I will get my refund in 2-3 weeks, I highly doubt it will come without some real efforts on my end. But, I'm not the type to let something like this go, so I will eventually get it back."

"Don’t apply here. I applied and got charged the application fee and the the deposit. Then got an email saying I didn’t qualify. Then they said they would return my deposit money within 4 weeks!!! Til this day haven’t revived anything ! I applied on August 2022 and September 2022 is almost over! They are scammers!! They won’t receive calls or see you in person! What kind of company is this! I’m going to report them."

"I was asked to review these apartments, but i will review them when my lease is over thanks. Edit: I am keeping this at 2 stars. The apartment itself was comfortable. I was also lucky to have really good neighbors. Used the pool a couple of times and it was a good time. But here is my experience. Multiple times people parked on my assigned parking spot. We Would get cars parked behind me all the time where i could not back out to leave the carport. You get people going the opposite way on the one way all the time. Someone broke into my car. Then i had my other cars trunk emblem stolen. (LOL). Had occasions where we would call security because a car parked on our assigned parking. No show...Multiple kids out there would kick soccer balls and hit cars all the time, including mine. other then that.... the front office staff was friendly and very professional."
