"Spent 2 nights in a second floor king room. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar and grill was great. The food was way upscale for bar food and the bartender treated us like old friends. Breakfast was amazing! I kind of felt under dressed in the dining room but my worries were put to rest when the manager told me not to worry about it. The street in front of the hotel is very busy but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. We visit Monterey once or twice a year and will definitely stay here when we are in town."

"* Stayed in the Norma Jean Honeymoon suite. It may not be for everyone but it was a great experience for us. The building is old and that can be seen but it’s also unique and different than other hotels we’ve stayed at. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. I can’t say enough positive things about the free breakfast included! The Pancakes are amazing! While the weather closed the restaurant/roof top bar, having access to the beautiful view 24hrs a day was a treat. Elevator wasn’t working but that added to the charm and the exercise didn’t hurt. Again, it’s a very old building but that’s part of why we chose it! We will definitely stay again!"

"This hotel is so dang cute and has SO much character! The outside does NOT do it justice. You walk in and are greeted with great service. The walls and floors are covered with such cute renaissance esk decor. The rooms are very interesting. A little small and the beds are not the best in comfort but it was clean and homey decorated. They have a really great rooftop terrace and the complimentary breakfast is SOOOOO good! It’s super fancy and FREE!! We felt like superstars at breakfast! Would definitely come here again."

"I loved Hotel 1110. It was a cute, charming boutique hotel steps. The location is perfect. Steps from the beach, across the street from a nice lake/park, 7 minute walk to downtown, 15 minute walk to Cannery Row, 10-15 minute drive to Carmel. Tony at the front desk was very nice. Their breakfast in the morning wasn't expensive and they served great food, strong coffee, and they offered a complimentary pastry with home made blueberry jam. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really nice. Lastly, the rooftop restaurant/bar. Although, I didn't take advantage of it, I went upstairs to take a look before I left back to Los Angeles. Stunning view of the ocean and just as charming as the hotel. I would definitely return. I've added three pictures (one of the lobby, two of the rooftop bar and view)."

"The visit to this hotel isn’t my first and I am pleased to say that I love it more and more every time! From personal experiences and observation, the staff is very friendly and welcoming! I love how they catch up with their guests in the mornings, asking about their plans for the day and if they are enjoying their stay so far. Breakfast here is never a disappointment, the fresh fruits are some of the best I’ve ever had! Dinners at the rooftop are amazing, they have beautiful scenery and delicious food/drinks. My favorite is the shrimp tacos but all the food is amazing! Overall, I would continue to come stay here and share this experience with others by recommending!"
