"Passing through while on a road trip down California Pacific highway 1. Daily destination unknown so I seldom book a hotel in advance. When arriving in monterey, I started my search with the cheapest hotel, disqualifying any based on cleanliness, upkeep, and service. I arrived with my service dog at 11:00 p.m., the front desk service was excellent. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and speedy. I received a online matched pricing and had no issues with my service dog. The outside of the hotel was well kept and appeared safe. The parking lot had plenty of room and was well lit. Rooms have been well renovated and feature modern conveniences. Everything was clean and well-kept. Bed linens and towels were clean, folded, and professionally presented. Curtains have been replaced with wood shutters providing blackout conditions. In-wall single room HVAC system connected to in-wall thermostat for easy use. Van acoustics a bit loud but consistent with other hotels between similar HVAC in this price range. Bathroom was clean and properly stocked. Water flow just fine, no problems with hot or cold. No issues with sound between rooms or the parking lot. Overall, very happy with my one night stay and would stay again."

"We are visiting from out of town, working on a construction project at Pebble Beach. We've been staying at Super 8 for about a week and a half and we expect to be here another 10 days or so. This place is clean! The front desk is super nice and efficient. The room attendants are incredible as well. Like I mentioned about room conditions, cleanliness is at the top of their priority list. When I checked in, they asked how often we needed room attendants service. We could have had every day, but we opted for every other day. I don't get this option at any other hotel I stay at. You usually have to call the front desk whenever you want the room serviced. No breakfast in the morning, but they do offer free coffee in the lobby. Denny's and other restaurants are within close walking distance of this motel. The fairgrounds are directly behind the motel. Very convenient and the price is right, especially for Monterey! Water pressure in shower - excellent! I'm impressed by this facility!"

"Cute hotel, good value (even over the weekend). Easy check-in, polite staff, CLEAN rooms. We asked for a 2 Queen room and were given Room 100 which is a 2 room suite with a TV in each room. Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator were all provided. Would stay here again."
