"The Owners are the number 1 nicest people I ever meet who rent rooms. Very understanding and kind unlike other motels who r very rude. I give them 10 stars. "I work construction so I’m constantly on the road. Finding a decent room is hard especially when you’re working shut/down turnaround hours. I found Royal Palms Motel at the end of January 2023 and I’ve been here for months now. Overall my experience has been great. Nice area, the location is perfect, less than a mile from the gym, laundry mat, whatever you need. The motel has been great, my room stays clean, rates are more than affordable, the staff will go out of their way to oblige you. They’ve worked with me and really helped me out. I get my packages sent here and don’t have to worry bc the front desk receives them and keeps them until I can get off work to pick them up. I haven’t had any trouble with the surrounding area /people. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a safe, affordable place to stay."
"This place is unbelievable. I went here looking for a room for just myself. The owner doesn't open the door but slides open a little window off to the side. He has me fill out a tiny paper and asked for my ID. I told him my friend was dropping me off and he told me my friend was not allowed to step foot into the room. Not at all. I explained I was staying by myself and would feel safer if my friend just came in with me to check it out, and he then he would be on his way. He started saying "safe, what safe" I told him I did not want an argument or confrontation, I just would feel better if my friend could come in with me to evaluate the room. He then started speaking broken English and saying that I should go to another motel if that were the case. I told him I would possibly come back but that I wanted to check out other places. He then told me I was no longer welcome to stay there. Sketchy. Thankful I did not end up staying in this creepy motel."
