"The food is so good!!! best ramen in Madison without fail!! and the service and atmosphere is also so great, the orders are always taken very soon after getting seated, and the food always comes out super fast. Great atmosphere and food is consistently good no matter what day, time, or how busy it is. Only bad side is how pricey it is, but for the quantity it makes up for it."
"The Hell Noodles Challenge is SERIOUS BUSINESS Went in thinking pain is temporary glory is forever and promptly got my butt handed to me. That stuff is HOT hot. Got half way through, no flavor just pain and my brain screaming at me to have mercy (and common sense [that I lack]) and tapped out. Promptly threw up three times over the next hour and had to wash my whole body once I got home so that I wouldn’t risk spreading the capsaicin. If anyone reads that and sees it as a challenge, good luck solider. Bring tums and milk for after. Godspeed. (PS my girlfriend says the tonkatsu ramen is delicious) (PPS you get free mochi icecream after the challenge even if you fail. So creamy and sweet! The staff were wonderful and friendly even when my literal face was burning and just about the color of a fire truck)"
"Probably the best ramen shop in Madison (RIP Ramen Kid). Noodles are perfect and absorb the broth well. Service was a bit iffy because of our waitress. Ambience is good."
"Blown away by the quality of the ramen here. It's so delicious and probably the best I've ever had. The homemade egg noodles were super tasty, and the broth was complex and yummy. Soul healing kind of ramen. We will definitely be coming back here regularly and bringing friends from out of town here when they visit. Hell Sauce was awesome and added a great flavor and spice to the dish. Hell Sauce comes in 1-5 levels. We tried 3 this time which was still pretty spicy but nothing crazy. We are going to keep trying the higher levels! HIGHLY RECOMMEND."
"I mean it's Strings, you already know it's going to be good if youeve ever been to the OG in Chicago, this one is bo exception. The spicy crab ramen was fantastic and the Hell level 1 sauce is a nice touch if you like spice. The edamame comes with some spice on top which I loved, my partner did not, so just be aware to order it with just salt if you don't like a little spice."
