"For the price, the food portions are minimal. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was very shy on meat. 80% bread, 20% meat. Service....we were eating in. They were not very busy, but we're clearly prioritizing the drive through and ignoring customers at the pickup window. It was 23 minutes from order to pick up. If this were table delivery it would be weak, but you have to stand and wait. What a joke. Atmosphere....memorabilia on the walls (hub caps and guitars) and some neon lights. Staff were pleasant. For me this was an overly expensive restaurant with little visual appeal and food that was very underwhelming. Won't be back."
"I’d rate this as a 4.5. The score being under 4 seems unfair. The food is exactly what you would expect from Portillos. The Italian Beef is solid and should always be dipped. The Chicago hot dogs are perfect. Don’t sleep on the cake shake iterations (chocolate or strawberry lemon)."
"Flavor King! Holy cow this roast beef was amazing! Can we say blast from the past? Amazing collection! Relics of our past and everywhere you look. It was not from my time but it certainly was a treat to see. Such a great place! The employees were very helpful at answering questions on what or how to order, With a smile! So appreciated. Everyone there was happy, polite and so eager to offer assistance. The restaurant was very clean, esp the bathrooms! It was certainly a great place to visit and eat at. I didn’t post all of the photos of the inside because of course, you have to visit to see it for yourself. We will absolutely come back again and recommend many others to stop in. Thank you!"
"We love Portillo's. First time at this location. The thematic decor was incredible. Very different from the others. The scoreboards in the rafters were a great idea in design. Food and service was great as always. I will come back to this one again when I am in the area."
