Kidango - Helen Turner is a non-profit organization located at 23640 Reed Way in Hayward, California, United States. We are dedicated to providing high-quality early learning services to children in need, with the goal of helping every child reach their full potential. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we serve families who receive free or reduced-cost childcare, and have child care centers located throughout the Bay Area.
Our team at Kidango is passionate about supporting families and children in our community. We offer a holistic approach to child development, providing love, nutrition, and learning opportunities to help children develop the early language, math, and social-emotional skills needed for success in school and in life. With over 50 child care centers, we are proud to be the largest provider of preschool in the Bay Area.
In addition to child care services, Kidango offers early intervention and behavioral health specialists, nutritional meals, family advocacy, and enrollment support to help families access necessary resources such as health care, dental care, housing, and job training. Our goal is to support families and close the school readiness gap before it becomes the school achievement gap.
One of our success stories is Alajandra, a parent whose children have benefited greatly from Kidango's programs. Through our support, Alajandra's children have improved their language skills, health, and overall well-being. Alajandra herself has been able to pursue her goals, including obtaining a job as a Teacher's Aide at Kidango and working towards a degree in Early Education.
