The Japanese Gardens in Hayward, California is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 22373 North 3rd Street. Open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed on Christmas Day), the Japanese Gardens offer a serene and peaceful setting for visitors to enjoy.
One unique feature of the Japanese Gardens is the option to rent the space for weddings and other small outdoor ceremonies from April through August. The garden can be rented after public hours, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a maximum capacity of 50 people. However, no alcohol, food, or beverages are allowed on the premises.
To inquire about availability and rental rates, individuals can contact the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District Customer Service at 510-881-6700 or email Reservations@HaywardRec.org. District residents may be eligible for discounted rates, but must provide proof of residency.
