"took my dog out to play ball found a soccer field and started to play ball and the hard worker drives up to me 20 yards and yell you can't do that this is not a dog park, long story short I left to go to another park where she can chase the ball , just a point that park isn't a golf course either so what are you doing driving a golf cart maybe you need to beat feet on the job just a bad experience for no reason park taxi driver could have just went to work and we would have left I pick up poop so what are the fields thier for waste of tax dollars only walkers my dog doesn't bother anyone she loves ball and open fields are made for her she needs room to run. now I took her to a dog park with tan bark $150 bucks later . this must be the special needs person that thought tan bark is a good idea for a dog park pure stupid I bet he sidelines for the street repair who put sacrifice block in the street keeping the stupid employed for the last 20 years"

"The park is beautiful and I would have given it 5 stars. However, when my friend and I entered the park with their dog, no signs were posted saying this was a dog park that required a leash. And there should be signs to let individuals know that. Again, how are we supposed to know the policy if it's not posted on the site or the entrance of the park."

"Very nice park. I took a morning stroll with my son here recently. There were lots of things to see. The park looked tidy and nice. There are lots of things to do for the whole family. This place has some of the friendliest squirrels around. Not aggressively looking for food either. Just happy to see you."

"a review from @amom2kidsandapark This park has everything you need and more! With a playground, picnic areas, a rose garden, soccer field, basket ball court, horse shop pits and more, it really feels like the possibility are endless. Along with the soccer and basketball fields/courts there are other recreation options including tennis, shuffle board, baseball and softball. The playground is fairly large. There are two slides (short straight and tube spiral), steps, ladders, the tunnel/ramp bridge seen at other Hayward parks, balance beam, climbing wall, and monkey bars. The play area also has a swing set with standard and bucket swings. The smaller slide is only accessible via ladder. This park has so much grass and if you’re lucky on a hot day you’ll be there when the sprinklers are on. Don’t miss the rose garden and statue in front of the historic house. There are two small parking lots off of Tennyson but street parking on Darwin gets you closed to the playground. There are bathrooms near the ball fields."
