I have lived at Monroe flat for over a year before relocating, and miss Lakendra will always be there to make sure everything I needed will be fixed, or changed, or anything…….. you are the besttttttttt miss Lakendra. The apartment is nice and new, however the neighbors smoke weed all day every day, at the time I was there some had parties until 5 am on weekdays, some made awful screaming, weird noises, and you can hear gun shots sometimes around the complex, people fighting outside, sometimes homeless people sleeping on the hallway, some of my packages have been stolen, Buttttttttt it’s well managed, they only need to have cameras there. call miss Lakendra and she will answer I promise you, as she is the BEST."

"Issue with Wogan Group - Tried to get an apartment here. I applied just for them to tell me that the website is not updated and that the apartment is no longer available. I asked if they could transfer my application and fee to a different property - monroe flats. They said no and made me pay again to that one. I thought it was ridiculous but I did it anyways. That was the first red flag. I learned later that all other apartment complexes just transfer the application fee. Its possible. Anyway both my partner and I applied for a different property (each another $50 so total $150 now). Then after that trying to get the apartment was a nightmare. I would email and they wouldn't respond. I would call and they usually wouldn't answer but when they did they would say "I'll call you tomorrow" but then they would never call. This kept happening with multiple office staff. I messed up an entire week's worth of work schedule just to try and get an answer. Then someone called to tell me we didn't pay so I asked how to properly pay? Because I had already paid. They didn't know and said someone would call me tomorrow morning. That never happened. LOL again. The next person I talked to finally said it was paid and they said I needed to pay the security deposit and that someone would call me the next morning to tell me how. lol that call never came. Then when I called they said I hadn't paid the application fee and this woman was not the same woman I was working with previously. She didn't even have the correct property I had applied for. It was just a total disaster. I took off time from work multiple times so I lost that pay AND the $150 before I eventually gave up and went to a different company. Checked the reviews and turns out many other people have the same issue with wogan group. Good thing though is the apartments are nice. They are really basic and way too much money for it being so basic. They say online its $885 but then they tag on a monthly fee they don't tell you about until meeting them and it ends up being about $900. But the area is nice and the apartment is nice. If you want an actually responsive company and you don't want your money played with I'd recommend going somewhere else and checking the reviews of the actual management company that runs the apartment. Rent is crazy right now so put your trust into a place and company less sketchy. I asked for a refund and...they never replied. I'll update the review if they ever give me a refund but if there is nothing below this then just know the company is a scam. Good luck on your apartment search!"
