"Giving this place a two star rating partially because most of the five star reviews are fake. If you don’t believe me, look at all the reviews with “similar” names posted at the same time…. The hotel itself was not bad, it was mostly clean and tidy. Definitely room for improvement, but nothing to complain about overall. The room was also very hot when we entered. The main reason I give the place a two star is the false advertising of a continental breakfast. There is NO continental breakfast, despite being told over the phone there was. There were also sketchy folks, maybe homeless people, sitting around the perimeter of the hotel. This made my S/O very uneasy. At night, however, the parking is well lit, but I would be hard pressed to venture around the area at night. The front desk clerk looked terrified of something out there himself. Also there was around $30+ dollars in hidden fees not displayed on their website."

"Absolutely to worst place I’ve ever dealt with. Told us the night before we could check-in at 1pm- (guaranteed this wouldn’t be a problem because they weren’t at capacity- we booked 7 days prior) we got there at 12:46pm and the woman at the front desk told us the man who told us that didn’t know what he was doing and none of the rooms were clean yet. We were in a time pinch for my brothers wedding in gatlinburg (one hour away) and were expecting to be able to check in at 1pm, shower, get ready and head out by 2-2:30 for the wedding at 5 (traffic is nuts this time of year). We even told them we would take a dirty room just to shower and get ready (we had driven 7 hours. Me, my boyfriend and his 12 year old daughter). We finally convinced them to let us check in at 11-11:30PM later that night (we needed to go to gatlinburg for the wedding and drive back.. so our arrival would be about 11pm) - we found family who allowed us to use their hotel room for us to get ready- IN gatlinburg! Fast forward to 11pm. We left gatlinburg at 10pm to drive back to Knoxville to check into our hotel and THE SAME women who gave us grief but then also guaranteed we could check in at 11-11:30 told us we weren’t welcome. We spent 1 1/2 hours trying to figure out anyway we could check in JUST TO SLEEP for 6 hours, she told us she could not accommodate us and refused to refund us. After 3 hours on the phone with Expedia (whom we booked with) and the hotel.: they finally refunded us (we were already driving towards home at time point). We left Delaware Ohio at 5:30am Saturday morning and got back home at 7:30am Sunday morning… all because this place has zero communication skills, customer service skills, hospitality understanding and frankly, just awful."

"very disappointed. the second i got there, already had terrible vibes. creepy people standing outside and staring at us. we got inside and the place was crazy hot and gross. pictures online are not what it really looks like. person working the front was not very friendly. got to the room and i checked for bugs. found bed bugs and cockroaches. urine stained sheets and a dirty towel behind the headboard. clearly was not cleaned after the last guest. really wanted to like this place but the only good thing i can say about it is they let us get a refund. please don’t go here. rodeway inn, please do better… thanks. wouldn’t let me leave another review so i’ll add this, notice how all the other 5 -star reviews have the same photos."

"My husband & I have stayed at other hotels in the area that were more expensive. I have stayed at this Rodeway Inn location a couple of times. The rooms were nice & very clean , cheap price & management was very friendly. Very quiet & able to rest good. Will definitely stay there again."

"I arrived very late and the gentleman was super nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The couple that own this place is great and has very good customer service. If I ever have to stop in Knoxville again this is where I will be staying. For truck drivers they have plenty of parking."
