"I just had the terrible experience of heading to Macy’s to try and return a jacket. It looks like the tags I had were no longer on it and there was a bit of dirt from having in my trunk with dogs. I have no problem not having the return accepted but unfortunately, there was a manager there, who is super harsh and rude to me, for no reason at all. It was clear that she was a supervisor and she was training somebody which wasn’t bothersome but to me her harsh tone and rude personality was a real turn off. Luckily, the woman she was training was nothing but pleasant. Hopefully Macy’s have better customer service in the future or have better management/supervisors to assist customers."

"The concept of customer service is absolutely gone. Not one single person on the floor to assist with locating merchandise. How many thousands of dollars are walking out the door because there wasn't somebody to help you find the item you were looking for. An absolutely disappointing experience. Never again"

"I went to the one in Pleasanton, CA. Macy's Backstage, which is a separate section within the store, has a lot of good deals on great merchandise, even with rising inflation. It's an excellent one-stop shop for holiday gifts. You can find clothing, shoes, beauty products, fragrances, luggage, and household and pet items. The store is well organized, and the staff are helpful, friendly, and courteous."
