"On Saturday, July 23, at around 4:00 pm CST, my brother and I went to Advance Auto Parts at 2631 Frayser Boulevard to get an oil filter. We were trying to get a common yet particular oil filter that Advance Auto Parts does not carry. Additionally, it seemed that all of the brands Advance sold were a little more expensive than one of your rivals. To make sure we didn't overlook it, we inquired about whether the store carried that particular brand as we were leaving and were informed that it did not. We agreed to check with one of your competitors who was not too far away. Katrina Smith, General Manager, was present at the store and stated, "Whatever they have, we have," and refused to allow business to leave her store for a competitor. To say we were "wowed" and "extremely impressed" would be an understatement. She then began to educate us on the filters' marketing and branding, which was a revelation to us. Following our conversation, we agreed to purchase our products from Advance. As many businesses face the current economic challenges, having competent, smart, knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, and simply nice employees such as Katrina Smith can add to a company’s bottom line, and she should not be taken for granted. I’m just one customer, but word of mouth travels quickly and profoundly, especially when your rival’s staff does not offer the same skills set, knowledge, or traits, it can definitely be impactful over time. So, I just wanted to share my experience and to express my appreciation to Katrina Smith for being a game changer and for being the very best of the best. Thanks"

"I came to this location because my wife’s battery died while she was at work. The workers( Katrina, Stephanie, and Katel) went above and beyond in assisting me. While replacing my battery they noticed her vehicle had no antifreeze which could have been a huge problem. It was a pleasant experience not just because they did their job but because you could tell that they enjoyed their job and they knew their job. They were very knowledgeable! This was my first experience at this store but it will definitely will not be my last and I will definitely recommend this store to people I know. If I could give more stars I would."

"I dropped by to purchase a set of lug nuts for my vehicle. Katrina Smith helped me and was extremely nice. She even showed me how to sign up for emails for quick coupons. I saved $5 instantly because of her! Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. If I need to visit an AAP store in Memphis, it'll be her location."

"It pays to have your own personal mechanic. He went online ordered parts and WE picked them up. They weren't ready when we arrived but it DIDN'T take them long to retrieve the items. THANK YOU for a great first experience."
