"We like this park for our little family. The playground is different than most of the others in Lubbock that mostly have the same design. The grass was pretty nice for a Lubbock park, too. A bathroom would always be nice, but that's not a luxury at most Lubbock parks anyway."
"It's a clean environment, the play ground is clean! The only thing there is no public restroom... it's a good place the play with your kids baseball, pass football, etc."

"Loved the park. Even though it is right next to the highway, it is quite and peaceful. There are plenty of picnic spots or places just to be alone and look at the water. Every time I've been there, there has been minimal people around, if any. I really enjoy going to this park."
