"I discovered this litle gem of a store through my husband who has been doing business with the owner for years. While I would go with him while he made a transaction, I always went to another store while he conducted business with th owner. When I finally broke and I'm glad I did. I have now been doing business with Al, the owner for over four months. I am continually impressed with the quality and the price of the gold and gems I have bought from him. He is honest and his prices will easily beat the bigger box stores around him. He has yet to push anything I don't want or try to sell something bigger just for the sake of making a sale. Instead he has steered me away from some items that did not match what I was looking for and suggested other items of lesser monetary value. He could have easily just pushed the biggeer sell but he did not and never has. He has already learned my style and when I ask for something he will find it immediately and will let me know if it fits my look/style and yes my pocketbook. He never suggest bigger as being better but will often see that sometimes downsizing will work best for me. He has since made several custom items for me that included adding diamonds on a small he bracelet. I wanted a certain size diamond on it but he informed me it would be best to go with a smaller diamond siteing the integrity of the bracelet might be damaged with the size I wanted. It was a small fillagree, delicate piece I was looking at and he was correct in the size of the diamond, the customized bracelet turned out beautiful and I have had many compliments on it. So if you want nice pieces,(10k, 14k, 18k and 21k in gold as well as good quality gems and diamonds, he will educated you on the diamonds, what to look for and how sometimes the bigger stores do not tell you of the 'inclustions' which are flaws in the diamonds but will sell you at a ridiculous price for a diamond that has too many flaws and is low on the diamond scale) at very good, fair price he is the man to go see. He has even fixed several old rings I've had tossed in an old jewelery box as well as adding diamonds that had fallen out of a dinner ring, repaired a broken Amethyst 14kt gold ring and replaced several of the loop/hooks on my gold and silver earrings. Once again, the jobs were done in less than a week and my rings and earrings looks like new. Unfortunately he was unable to fix a herringbone gold necklace simply because of the way it is shaped and made. Has nothing to do with the quality, it has to do with how you handle and store the herringbone necklace. But I can always sell the gold, lol. He does not have the flashy show case the other stores have, he does have nice pieces, good prices, and what ever you are looking for he can easily get it for you(99% of the time) and you will not be disappointed. You have nothing to loose and nice jewelery to gain from going to speak to the Al."
