"Not only useless, but a waste of valuable time. Why wait until the customer has made a trip to the store before advising that they don't work on the phone that is being brought in for repair? I researched my phone problem on the Samsung website, and was directed to Geek Squad as an authorized repair site. So, I made my appointment online, and gave detailed information about the make and model of my cell phone and the problem it is presenting. I get to Best Buy, demonstrate the problem to the desk clerk, and he asks, "How long has it been like this?" Who cares? I told him that warranty wasn't the issue, that I just needed repair. I'm asked to wait. He eventually returns to have me sign an authorization to run a diagnostic on the phone, takes the phone to the back room, and tells me I can shop the rest of the store for 10 minutes or so. When he finally returns with my phone, he says that it passed all diagnostics, and even though he saw the problem, they only work on newer models."

"Zero stars and a giant thumbs down to the horrible Geek Squad driver - license plate HGT7887 who pretty much forced me into an unsafe situation on the road. This fool driving so erratic I was forced to switch lanes in an unsafe manor- right next to a concrete hauler. With your brand plastered all over the vehicle - maybe you should have better safety standards and expectations for employee behavior. 10:37 am- precinct line road. Saturday am- 8/14/20. Do better. I’ll never use this service based on the apparent sub par hiring."
